  • Instrument Management: Sterilize and maintain equipment and instruments, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Supply Management: Stock and manage surgical supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
  • Support during Surgery: Provide support during surgery by passing instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
  • Supply Tracking: Track and manage surgical supplies, ensuring they are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date on the latest surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures, ensuring you remain a valuable asset to our team.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and other members of the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from a fully accredited Certified Surgical Tech program.
  • License: Active unencumbered Surgical Tech license in Michigan.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of current Surgical Tech experience, with a strong background in operating room procedures.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, with the ability to maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Qualifications: BLS and ACLS certification, with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
