Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team at The Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our Communication Technologies and Engineering Division, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in RF components and systems, analyzing RF systems and components using a mix of modeling/simulation and experimental measurements, and leading cross-organizational teams to deliver innovative solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in RF system design and analysis, including antenna and RF component development.
  • Conduct technical studies, analysis, experiments, and simulations to identify and solve complex technical problems.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement RF system solutions, including prototyping and testing.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in RF system design and analysis, with a focus on antenna and RF component development.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SSBI security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with commercial and/or custom modeling and simulation tools for RF analysis.
  • Experience with laboratory environment work with RF hardware and test equipment.
  • Proficiency with a variety of popular analysis tools, such as ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS, Feko, CST, and/or GRASP.
  • Background in scientific programming using languages such as C, C++, Fortran, Python, Rust, or Julia.
