MelroseWakefield Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at MelroseWakefield Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of diagnoses, including musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary system conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve maximum functional outcomes.
- Supervise and educate students and staff therapists, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote patient safety and independence in discharge planning.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved school of Physical Therapy.
- Physical Therapy (PT) License.
- Three (3) years of clinical experience with one year in an acute care setting.
- American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Membership or specialty equivalent.
