Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Converting Operator to join our team at ProAmpac. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating converting machines to produce high-quality packaging products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
  • Adjust machines to improve print quality and troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Monitor construction of bags, feeding, and printing processes to maintain specified operating levels.
  • Operate equipment while maintaining minimum run speed and ensuring quality of bag construction.
  • Notify supervisors of any problems or needed repairs.
  • Direct and supervise the activities of workers, inspecting and packaging product manufactured on assigned machines.
  • Monitor stocks of materials and maintain supplies during equipment operation.
  • Change bag size and maintain records of goods produced and waste accumulated during shifts.
  • Requisition supplies, materials, and equipment and receive stock.
