Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Vascular Imaging Specialist for our practice who will provide clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care.

We are a dedicated team that strives to support one another and are in search of an exceptional addition who shares our passion for patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vascular ultrasonic procedures as instructed by physicians.
  • Schedule patients for procedures.
  • Explain procedures to patients to ensure cooperation and optimal test results.
  • Position patients and select the appropriate transducer.
  • Perform scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment by maneuvering the scanner over specified body areas and adjusting equipment for focus.
  • Complete exams accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Gather patient history and retrieve previous files.
  • Coordinate patient flow and verify daily lists to ensure all exams are completed.

Qualifications:

  • No formal education requirements.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an ultrasound technologist/sonographer.
  • Must possess one or more of the following credentials: Registered Vascular Tech, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in accordance with state regulations and clinical specialty.
