The Senior Oracle Technical Consultant specializing in Order Management Applications acts as a pivotal liaison between the business and technical teams. Collaborating with application analysts from various sectors and consultants, this position plays a crucial role in EBA implementation projects throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee business analysis processes, including methodologies for requirements gathering, documentation, and scope definition with non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Articulate the system vision by documenting, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements derived from organizational objectives, transforming them into actionable technical items.
  • Collaborate with business users across multiple units to ensure a unified understanding of business goals and processes, facilitating effective technological solutions.
  • Support business users in providing necessary clarifications to the Project Team, Development Team, and Production Support Team for the design and implementation of effective solutions.
  • Assess the feasibility of business requests and rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.
  • Demonstrate the ability to create and present key requirements artifacts independently.
  • Develop comprehensive Scope Documents, Use Cases, Functional Designs, and detailed configurations.
  • Document Key Business Rules, Activity Diagrams, and Business Process Mapping Diagrams.
  • Conduct Application Gap Analysis and possess expert knowledge in querying and analyzing application data schemas.
  • Provide both business and technical leadership, working alongside the IT Project Team to ensure project timelines are met while identifying and addressing risks and issues related to IT solutions.
  • Complete assigned projects efficiently and cost-effectively, coordinating tasks among internal and external resources as necessary.
  • Ensure the protection of confidential and proprietary client information.
  • May lead technical or functional teams or projects.
  • Establish collaborative relationships beyond the immediate area of expertise.
  • Address complex challenges by taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions and develop new concepts, methods, and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience as an Oracle Applications Consultant.
  • Expertise in Oracle ERP Applications and VBCS development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Order Management, Inventory Management, Oracle Pricing, and Oracle Trading Partner Architecture module configurations.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes.
  • Proficient in SQL-based queries and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
  • Solid functional understanding of Oracle modules and development frameworks for extensions within the Oracle Cloud environment.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Fluency in English at an advanced proficiency level.
  • Experience with 2-3 full lifecycle implementations for Order Management, Inventory Management, Oracle Pricing, and Oracle Trading Partner Architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine strong business acumen with deep IT knowledge.
  • Proven track record in strategic project planning and client management.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders, effectively managing multiple high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
  • Experience in managing teams.
