We are currently hiring qualified Paramedics to join our fast-paced team. As a Paramedic with AMR, you will play a vital role in assessing emergency situations, utilizing advanced medical equipment, and communicating effectively with healthcare facilities to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Description:
The Paramedic position involves providing basic and advanced patient care in a professional, caring, and cost-effective manner. This includes assessing each call situation to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocol, utilizing medical equipment and procedures, developing and utilizing triage skills, and communicating with receiving facilities to receive medical direction and provide critical information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- State of California Paramedic License
- CPR Card (American Heart Association)
- ACLS Card (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association) or PEPP (for Riverside, LA & Ventura Co. applicants)
- Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
- Some past work experience, preferably in healthcare
