Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Charge Nurse to join our team at Fairmount Homes, Inc. in a temporary / PRN capacity. As a key member of our Personal Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents while upholding the Fairmount culture of compassion, community, dignity, integrity, quality, teamwork, and trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and complete treatments per physician's orders, following the Pharmacy Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Make rounds, checking all residents, and complete nursing documentation on resident records.
  • Assign additional duties to Resident Assistants, such as weekly supply orders and PRN, cleaning chores, etc.
  • Assist with resident assessments, admissions, discharges, transfers, and deaths.
  • Receive written, faxed, and verbal orders per facility policy.
  • Maintain safety and infection control standards, following regulations from State and Federal regulatory agencies.
  • Initiate Incident and Accident reports per policy.
  • Keep the Director of Personal Care informed of resident status, including incidents and accidents.
  • Supervise Resident Assistants and require accountability to comply with facility policies and procedures.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and adhere to the Corporate Compliance Plan.
  • Comply with HIPAA Privacy standards.
Requirements
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to function calmly and professionally under stressful conditions, including emergency, critical, unusual, or dangerous situations.
Compensation

$31.85 / hour, with a $1.25 / hr weekend shift differential, $1 for evening shifts, and $0.50 for night shifts.
