Position Overview:

We are seeking a part-time expert in Ruby on Rails, particularly with experience in the QuickBooks API. This role is crucial for ensuring that our SaaS application integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks, aligning with our customers' requirements and keeping pace with the latest API developments. Initially, this position will require a full-time commitment for the first few months, after which the workload is expected to decrease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary contributor to the integration between TapGoods and QuickBooks.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering leadership and the product management team.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Ruby on Rails and React (minimum of 3 years).
  • Proven track record in implementing and managing the QuickBooks API.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, including deferred revenue, is advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt quickly based on data and insights.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Experience in SaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated success as a self-managed contractor with excellent references.
