The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering preconstruction services to our clients, which includes cost estimation, initial scheduling, value optimization, and feasibility assessments. As a prominent Construction Manager and General Contractor, we focus on providing exceptional service without engaging in specific trade work. This role is a full-time salaried opportunity.

Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a Preconstruction Manager or Estimator role is preferred
- Proficient in working both independently and collaboratively
- Skilled in creating professional presentations and detailed cost reports
- Familiarity with estimating software such as SmartBidNet, Bluebeam, On-Screen Take Off, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is preferred
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of the preconstruction process from design inception to the commencement of construction.
- Establish trust and provide guidance to the project team through professional services that yield optimal value.
- Evaluate labor, material, and time requirements for projects to gain a comprehensive understanding of each project's scope.
- Deliver cost estimates to both internal management and project stakeholders.
- Compile reports that detail all project costs and explore value engineering options.
- Support design teams throughout the project design phase.
- Develop options studies and design alternatives.
- Create preconstruction timelines.
- Assess design documents for feasibility and bidding readiness.
- Manage the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Draft contracts for subcontractors and purchase orders for suppliers.
