Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a network of third-party repair facilities to guarantee prompt maintenance for Hub Group vehicles.
  • Manage and streamline maintenance costs to enhance vehicle and driver efficiency.
  • Provide repair direction to external service providers and ensure adherence to DOT regulations.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and uphold compliance with DOT standards.
  • Deliver outstanding support to terminal supervisors and drivers regarding maintenance requirements.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with Operations, Customer Service, and Safety departments.
  • Negotiate repair expenses with external contractors and authorize necessary repairs.
  • Approve and oversee breakdown repairs in a timely manner.
  • Process maintenance transactions within the system without delay.
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of strategic action plans.
  • Play a crucial role in the growth of the business unit by improving customer retention, expansion, and new sales opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and local regulations across all operational branches.
  • Collaborate with various teams to achieve excellence in operations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet operations management with a focus on cost efficiency and productivity.
  • Skilled in leveraging technology for ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations, preventive maintenance schedules, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to effectively engage with drivers, managers, and service providers.
  • Capacity to prioritize responsibilities and excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000/year
