Residential Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Care Specialist to join our team at BHP of Central Ohio. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to clients with mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor client activity and conduct regular facility rounds to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Assist clients with medication management and provide emotional support as needed.
- Recognize and address antisocial or unusual behaviors, documenting incidents and notifying supervisors as required.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to client concerns and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized facility, submitting work orders for repairs and maintenance as necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; training or coursework in crisis management and one year of experience in a residential setting preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification and basic computer, phone, and typing skills necessary.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of job performance.
