Position Overview: In periods of both anticipated and unforeseen organizational changes, senior leadership relies on dependable executives who excel in fluid environments. Riveron Corp offers Interim Executive assistance, acting as an integral part of our clients' operations, delivering guidance during phases of substantial growth, distress, integration, and separation.

Your Profile: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

You possess a minimum of 12 years of cumulative experience in professional services and industry accounting and/or financial management roles, showcasing your ability to aid organizations in navigating significant transitions such as rapid growth, acquisitions, and mergers.

Your extensive skill set encompasses best practices in finance and accounting operations, including budgeting and forecasting, month-end closure, audit facilitation, cash flow projections, and comprehensive reporting for management, sponsors, and lenders.

You have a solid grasp of essential business processes linked to order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report, with the capability to utilize systems and technology to enhance these processes.

You are knowledgeable about key accounting challenges that frequently arise in companies experiencing growth through acquisitions, such as revenue recognition, business combination accounting, equity compensation, and lease obligations.

Your background includes prior roles as a CFO, CAO, or Controller in private equity-backed firms with revenues ranging from $50 million to $800 million.

Experience in the Industrial, Manufacturing, Retail, Software, or Healthcare sectors is highly desirable.

You have collaborated with auditors, particularly regarding PBC requests, financial statement preparation, and conflict resolution.

You are passionate about nurturing long-term client relationships and excel in leading and developing teams and individuals.

You thrive in a dynamic work environment, adept at identifying challenges and instinctively seeking solutions.

You believe that surpassing client expectations and enjoying your work are interconnected.

You actively engage in both internal and external initiatives, including community service, training, recruitment, committees, conference panels, and firm events.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide interim leadership to our clients as either:

  • Interim CFO: Overseeing the accounting and finance function, redesigning systems and processes, delivering budgets and forecasts, and offering strategic insights for performance enhancement.
  • Interim CAO/Controller: Planning and directing all accounting operations while spearheading process improvement initiatives.

Collaborate directly with private equity sponsors, client management, and Riveron leadership as a primary partner to navigate complex business, accounting, and financial challenges associated with significant transformations.

Lead client teams in daily operations, including setting priorities, resolving issues, mentoring team members, and delving into problems to enhance processes until a permanent hire is onboarded and trained.

Partner with clients to ensure successful audits, timely and accurate financial closings, comprehensive internal and external reporting, process improvement initiatives, integration activities, and other critical business objectives as directed by management.

Oversee income and sales tax planning and compliance, coordinating with third-party providers.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of Riveron's diverse service offerings to identify opportunities for business improvement within the client and collaborate with the broader Riveron team to promote and deliver additional services.

Establish trusted relationships with clients and prospects to secure new business and foster long-term partnerships.

Encourage a workplace culture that supports the development of team members into future leaders.

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $320,000, exclusive of bonuses, equity, or benefits that may be applicable. This range considers various factors, including experience, training, skill sets, licensure, certifications, location, and organizational needs.
