Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at PeopleShare Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations for all properties and personnel, ensuring that routine maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Assign Work: Supervise and assign work to maintenance personnel through the MRI Angus work order dispatching system.
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee maintenance operations for all Henderson properties and personnel, ensuring that routine maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Staffing and Training: Ensure that Henderson Service Corp. has adequate staffing to complete routine maintenance work, and that maintenance personnel are properly deployed and trained.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Maintain communications with tenants either directly or through other department personnel, respond to tenant concerns and complaints, and follow up to ensure that concerns have been addressed.
  • Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes that may occur between tenants, in conjunction with the Property Manager, ensure that rules established in the lease are clear and followed.
  • Access and Security: Provide access as required by Henderson vendors, tenant vendors, and utility providers.
  • Equipment and Inventory: Ensure that maintenance staff have adequate training, equipment, tools, and inventory to properly perform their assigned tasks.
  • Hiring and Training: Assist in hiring additional maintenance staff personnel as required, and ensure that new hires receive proper training and orientation.
  • Quality Control: Review completed requests to ensure they have been completed in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3+ years in commercial building/facilities maintenance.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of building maintenance principles, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical, HVAC, security systems, and locksmithing.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technology: Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug and background check.
