Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, supervise, and motivate a team of parts professionals to ensure seamless inventory management and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain optimal parts inventory turns, analyzing sales, expenses, and inventory to meet profit goals.
  • Collaborate with the Service Director to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs, promoting efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Enforce company policies on special ordering of parts, maintaining accurate tracking systems and ensuring performance meets or exceeds company guidelines.
  • Implement new policies, procedures, and systems as necessary, providing technical assistance to parts department employees.
  • Oversee daily reports, parts, and counter sales, ensuring comprehensive understanding of parts and inventory management.
  • Utilize strong organizational skills and attention to detail to drive results in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automobile dealership parts management.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage people and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel.
  • Toyota experience is highly desirable, with Reynolds experience being a plus.
