Mass General Brigham seeks an exceptional Senior Nursing Director to lead our cancer care team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in nursing and a deep understanding of the complexities of cancer care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes, improve staff satisfaction, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient-Centered Care: Foster a culture of patient-centered care, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.
  • Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the nursing team, inspiring and motivating staff to deliver exceptional care.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to optimize clinical operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Staff Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that staff has the skills and knowledge needed to deliver best-in-class care.
  • Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and external partners to advance the mission of Mass General Brigham.

Requirements

  • Nursing Experience: 5+ years of experience in nursing leadership, preferably in oncology or a related field.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Education: Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications.
