Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and customer-focused Lead Coffee Barista to join our team. As a key member of our coffee shop team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining high-quality products, and contributing to store profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and connect with each customer, providing personalized service and recommendations.
  • Effectively manage inventory, stock, and rotation to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Assume responsibility for learning and demonstrating knowledge as a barista, including product and conduct standards established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures and register policies to maintain store profitability.
Requirements
  • Preferable supervisory and/or barista experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must have valid identification.
  • Must meet the company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
  • Special skills: customer-focused, strong interpersonal skills, and food handling certificate preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs.
  • Job cycles: continual max.
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
  • Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
  • Max pull static: 20 lbs.
