Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Lead Coffee Barista to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive store experience, and contributing to store profitability.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, welcoming and connecting with each customer to enhance their shopping experience
* Effectively recommend products and accommodate purchases to meet customer needs
* Demonstrate knowledge and practice of safe food handling and quality assurance standards
* Present oneself in a clean and professional manner during every shift
* Follow proper cash handling procedures and register policies
* Assume responsibility to learn and demonstrate knowledge as a barista, including self-initiated learning beyond the standard training program

Requirements

* Preferable supervisory and/or barista experience
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have valid identification
* Must meet company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance
* Special skills: customer-focused, strong interpersonal skills, and food handling certificate preferred

Working Conditions

* Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
* Job cycles: continual maximum
* Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
* Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
* Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
* Max pull static: 20 lbs.
