Job Title: IT Enterprise Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Enterprise Architect to join our team at Pensacola Christian College. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a critical role in enabling our modernization journey by developing, providing, and guiding architecture services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of our enterprise architecture, ensuring it remains up-to-date, supportable, and efficient.
  • Help execute the Business Unit's vision and ensure alignment with the current and future architecture, including security architecture.
  • Develop solutions architectures that support customer lines of business and work with application, technology, product, and domain owners to ensure roadmaps exist and are maintained.
  • Analyze and define advanced technologies relevant to the applications and services within the enterprise architecture.
  • Support the education of ministry personnel and the implementation of the ministry's enterprise architecture blueprint.
  • Assist in preparing business cases for changes, rationalization, or transformation of applications and facilitate what-if / white-boarding sessions to explore and share architecture concepts with peers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of architecting, engineering, supporting or developing enterprise IT solutions in hosted & cloud environment.
  • 15+ years in IT including cloud and third-party outsourced components.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn department-specific programs and technologies.

  • Born-again Christian with a passion for training young people for serving God.
  • Dedication to educating students based on biblical values and commitment to excellence as a Christian educator.
  • Agreement with Pensacola Christian College's Mission, Purpose & Objectives, Doctrinal Position, Philosophy of Education, and Faculty & Staff Commitments.

We reserve the right to fill this role at a higher/lower grade level based on ministry needs. An assessment may be required to be considered for this position.
