About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our Core R&D group, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design and development of innovative medical devices.

As an Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to your team, overseeing the development of electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality regulations.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute product development strategies, and collaborate with program management to ensure successful and timely integration of electrical systems into new and existing products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the design and development of electrical systems
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to your team
  • Oversee the development of electrical systems and ensure compliance with industry standards and quality regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute product development strategies
  • Work closely with program management to ensure successful and timely integration of electrical systems into new and existing products
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in people leadership within a product development or technology development environment
  • 7 years overall engineering experience (or 5 years overall engineering experience with an advanced degree)
