Business Development Manager for Personal and Commercial Insurance

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

About the Role:
Maintain and grow profitable relationships with personal lines clients while expanding the book of business through new client sales. Exclusive lead generation and competitive commission structures enable our agents to thrive in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients by fostering excellent relationships and providing accurate quotations and general account support.
* Actively prospect and solicit increases in existing client coverage to ensure maximum revenue potential.
* Present policies to insured clients, educating them on coverages and rates, and processing quotes and binding insurance coverage as needed.
* Support clients during renewal and retention processes, monitoring and reporting on key metrics to ensure sales targets are met.
* Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, and participate in meetings to drive growth and success within the organization.
* Maintain CE and stay informed regarding industry information, new product information, and legislation to provide expert guidance to clients.

Requirements:
* Hold required insurance license and have 2+ years of personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience.
* Possess valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and strong knowledge of insurance products and usages.
* Proven track record of business-to-business sales success with strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
* Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive, with outstanding organizational skills, sound business judgment, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
