Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at Avmax Montana, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of aircraft, and providing technical guidance and support to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technicians in the maintenance of aircraft, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and within the required timeframe.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure the efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, including training and development programs to ensure all technicians have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs, ensuring they are within budget and aligned with company objectives.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong background in leadership and technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take calculated risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Valid certification under 14 CFR Part 65 for the work being supervised.
