Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology team in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in our Oncology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Your expertise in oncology nursing will enable you to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, identifying patient needs and developing effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience in oncology nursing, with a strong understanding of cancer care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
