Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Designer to lead the design and development of visually stunning and user-friendly websites.

As a Senior Web Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including web developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful execution of projects.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong design portfolio, an in-depth understanding of industry trends, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring the highest quality of web design deliverables.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and business objectives to inform the design strategy.
  3. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that communicate design concepts and user interactions.
  4. Collaborate with web developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and optimal user experiences.
  5. Conduct thorough usability testing and gather feedback to iteratively improve designs.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into design solutions.
  7. Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth.
  8. Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  9. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  10. Maintain and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices throughout the design process.
  11. Continuously improve and streamline design workflows and processes.
Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in web design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful web design projects.

Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, and WordPress.

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.

Ability to create and manage a library of templates, components, grids, and styles to support a complex variety of B2B needs.

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles. Deep understanding of mobile and tablet experience creation, optimization, and performance implications.

Experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.

Proven ability to lead design projects, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Experience with UX research methods and usability testing.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$68,000 - $195,500
