Key Responsibilities:- Teach scheduled classes on time and provide thorough warm-ups, engaging exercises, stretching, and effective cool-downs.
- Instruct patrons on optimal workout methods and explain proper techniques, demonstrating exercises in a supportive environment.
- Prepare necessary equipment, music, and handouts for each class and maintain a positive, safe exercise experience.
- Assist patrons, answer questions, and report class attendance daily or weekly.
- Licenses and certifications: Aquatics or land fitness instructor certification from a national organization (if applicable).
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as an aquatics or land fitness instructor with proven results.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, flexibility, ability to work flexible hours, and relate well with diverse populations.
$47,500 - $62,000 per year, based on location and experience.
