Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Summer Intern at Truist Inc. in the AFCO Direct department. As a Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the premium finance industry and develop strong business-to-business acumen and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with assigned area of the company to expand knowledge of B2B lending, the insurance industry, and the company.
  • Complete specific projects for departments.
  • Assist department staff with various tasks in support of business.
  • Participate in internship meetings and discussions across Truist and AFCO Direct.

Requirements:

  • Must be a rising college junior or senior.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with teammates at all levels of the organization and with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and details.
  • Ability to operate a computer with Windows knowledge; Word and Excel preferred.
  • Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
