About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our institution by leading the recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and engage prospective students and their families.
- Review and make admission decisions on undergraduate applicant files, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to inform recruitment strategies and admission decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proven experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field, with a strong understanding of higher education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive recruitment strategies.
- Proficiency in technology, including CRM systems, data analysis tools, and other software applications relevant to the role.
- Experience working in higher education, with a strong understanding of the admissions process and related policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and apply data insights to inform recruitment strategies.
