About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our institution by leading the recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and engage prospective students and their families.
  • Review and make admission decisions on undergraduate applicant files, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience.
  • Supervise and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to inform recruitment strategies and admission decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proven experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field, with a strong understanding of higher education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive recruitment strategies.
  • Proficiency in technology, including CRM systems, data analysis tools, and other software applications relevant to the role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in higher education, with a strong understanding of the admissions process and related policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and apply data insights to inform recruitment strategies.
