Core Driller

We are seeking a skilled Core Driller to join our team at Vulcan Materials Company. As a Core Driller, you will be responsible for operating a portable rotary drill to obtain core samples, maintaining accurate drill logs, and preparing drilling reports.
Key Responsibilities- Champion Safety: Prioritize safety throughout the operation, adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards.
- Move and Operate Core Drill: Operate the drill to obtain core samples, layout drilling patterns, and maintain drill bits.
- Inspect and Maintain Core Drill: Inspect and maintain drill mechanisms, lubricant systems, and fluid levels.
- Complete Reports: Conduct pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and complete core drilling reports.
- Experience: Core drilling experience in the Mining or Aggregates industry is preferred.
- Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, and in various weather conditions.
- CDL License: Valid or ability to obtain a Class B CDL License.
