Key Responsibilities:

As a Store Associate, you will engage in various operational tasks, including:

  1. Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers.
  2. Efficiently managing point-of-sale systems to ensure accurate transactions.
  3. Encouraging participation in our customer loyalty program, including sign-ups and reward processing.
  4. Assisting in the freight flow process, which involves unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining merchandise presentation.
  5. Contributing to the furniture department by helping with carry-outs and display assembly as required.
  6. Upholding the cleanliness and appearance of the store's interior and exterior to meet company standards.
  7. Performing daily maintenance tasks at the front end, including ensuring check stand cleanliness and replenishing merchandise.
  8. Carrying out additional duties as assigned by Store Leadership, such as cart retrieval and safety-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be at least 16 years old.
  2. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
  3. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  4. Prior experience in retail is preferred.
  5. Experience with cash register operations is advantageous.
  6. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds is necessary, along with the capacity to unload freight and move products throughout the store.
  7. Basic literacy and math skills in English are required.
