Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality radiology procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort during diagnostic imaging exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality radiology procedures in a timely manner, following established protocols and standards.
  • Utilize effective communication techniques to ensure patients understand procedures and feel comfortable.
  • Position patients, adjust immobilization devices, and configure equipment controls to set appropriate exposure factors.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including infection control, drug, and radiation policies.
  • Maintain equipment, report issues, and assist with inventory management.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation, such as patient history, consent forms, and requisitions, are obtained and properly recorded.
  • Maintain medical imaging records in a timely and accurate manner according to departmental policies.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Serve as a preceptor by providing training to new team members and assisting with new services and initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Experience: Previous radiology experience preferred.
  • Certification/License:
  • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
