Perioperative Registered Nurse

The Perioperative Registered Nurse, under the supervision of the PACU Manager or the Director of Nursing, is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the pre-operative and post-operative phases of surgical procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with experience in ICU, ER, or recovery room settings. They will be able to demonstrate sound nursing judgment, regulatory compliance, and a passion for delivering patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the pre-operative and post-operative phases of surgical procedures
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in ICU, ER, or recovery room settings
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to perioperative care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
