Cloud Architect

Cognizant Technology Solutions US Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage disaster recovery activities for Client Enterprise Search and Client Enterprise Queue, including backup and restore processes for critical components.
  • Implement financial operations practices to optimize cloud costs, including managing cost-saving tools and presenting optimization recommendations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Cognizant and the client, ensuring alignment on project deliverables and addressing any concerns.
  • Assign tasks to offshore members, manage their progress, and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Lead the transition from Smartshift to Cognizant, focusing on key areas like wiki documentation, Kubernetes support, disaster recovery (DR), and FinOps.
  • Provide first responder support for Kubernetes environments, managing alert responses, and coordinating with DevOps teams for operational efficiency.
  • Lead the wiki review and documentation process to ensure all project aspects are properly documented for reference and continuity.
