About the Role
In this dynamic role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on the Medical Surgical Oncology unit at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this position include:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, collecting data and analyzing results to inform plan of care interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications and perform vital signs, maintaining accurate records and communicating results to the healthcare team.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting dignity and respect throughout the care process.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a graduate degree from an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program, state licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN), IV certification, and BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this position.
