Role Overview - Program Coordinator: The Program Coordinator at COA is essential in facilitating the daily operations of our educational environment. This role encompasses managing classroom activities, implementing suitable programs for children, and ensuring that our educational offerings comply with all organizational, state, and accreditation standards. As the Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining documentation, generating regular reports, and ensuring adherence to regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily functioning of the school, including classroom oversight and management.
- Design and execute age-appropriate educational programs as required.
- Keep precise records and produce reports consistently.
- Guarantee compliance with company policies, state laws, and accreditation criteria.
- Plan and coordinate activities and events, such as field trips and parent meetings.
- Manage the utilization of resources and materials to ensure an effective learning atmosphere.
- Act as the third-level management in the absence of the School Director or Assistant Director.
- As a Program Coordinator, you will play a significant role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, reinforcing our dedication to high-quality education and care. Your commitment to supporting children's development will be vital in achieving our mission of delivering outstanding programs and experiences for our students.
Qualifications:
- Director 2 certification from MA EEC.
- Compliance with state regulations for Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher.
- Fulfillment of state in-service training requirements.
- Experience: Previous work experience in childcare with a preference for management experience.
- Education: Completion or pursuit of a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or a degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
