Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes.
  • Stay current with clinical knowledge, best practices, and regulatory requirements to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • One year of recent experience in a surgical setting.
  • Five years of surgical scrub experience.
  • Current Louisiana RN License.
  • BLS Card.
  • ACLS Certification.
