Job Description: We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and improvement of our cutting-edge machinery and equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components for machinery and equipment, and integrate these machines and equipment as components within larger systems as required.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and sales people, and project managers, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and service.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, procurement, sales and service teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and/or 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work proactively and effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with project management and product development processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and standards is desirable.
