Job Description: We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Amos Manufacturing, Inc. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and improvement of our cutting-edge machinery and equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the success of our organization. Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical components for machinery and equipment, and integrate these machines and equipment as components within larger systems as required. Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and sales people, and project managers, to ensure the successful execution of projects. Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and service. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Provide technical support to manufacturing, procurement, sales and service teams throughout the product lifecycle. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and/or 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering. ```{=html} ``` - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work proactively and effectively in a team environment. - Experience with project management and product development processes is a plus. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and standards is desirable.
