As a Cardiac Monitor Technician, you will play a critical role in collaborating with and assisting other care team providers in the delivery of information obtained through observation and documentation of changes in telemetry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with care team providers to deliver information obtained through observation and documentation of changes in telemetry.
  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing accurate and timely information to healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and document changes in patient telemetry, including cardiac rhythms and other vital signs.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and telemetry principles to provide accurate and effective support to care team providers.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest developments in cardiac monitoring and telemetry.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous telemetry monitoring experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of baseline telemetry monitoring competency examination and annual competency examination required.
  • BLS certification required.
Conditions of Employment

Covid vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson Health for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
