Position SummaryWe are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus of $2,000 for first-time hires.
The Lead Specialist role requires a blend of technical proficiency and leadership skills to effectively diagnose and address complex automotive issues while guiding a team to enhance customer satisfaction.
Our compensation model is performance-based, utilizing a flat-rate pay system that rewards skilled professionals for each completed task, promoting efficiency and ensuring fair compensation for expertise and commitment.
Pay Range: $46.51 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair systems including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- Clearly communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to customers without mechanical backgrounds.
- Stay updated with evolving automotive technologies through ongoing paid training.
- Mentor and assist fellow technicians in executing technical tasks.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to operate both customer and company vehicles.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program, or equivalent qualifications.
- Hold A.S.E. certification in at least five of the A1-A8 categories (L1 may count as one of the five), with new hires given up to two years to comply if they have similar external qualifications.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local licensing and certification requirements.
- Effectively convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
