The Night Auditor collaborates with various hotel departments to ensure a cohesive service delivery throughout the night.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly role within the hospitality sector, offering a competitive salary ranging from $15.50 to $17 per hour. Employees receive weekly pay and are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, paid time off, and discounts at IHG hotels globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nightly audits and reconcile all financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage all cash, check, and credit card transactions during overnight hours.
  • Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs, addressing any inquiries or requests they may have.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Monitor the hotel's security systems and respond to any issues that arise.
  • Prepare daily reports and distribute them to relevant departments.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager or General Manager.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly with hotel reservation systems.
  • Some college coursework in hospitality or accounting is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills are necessary.
  • Familiarity with Opera PMS system is a plus.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts and weekends.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
