We are looking for highly motivated, hardworking individuals who want to learn and advance their skills in commercial demolition. The selected candidate will be part of the Twin City Demo team and work on various projects, including selective demolition, requiring precision and efficiency.

Job Description

Twin City Demo is seeking a skilled Selective Demolition Construction Laborer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing commercial demolition tasks, adhering to company standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning up and hauling debris to dumpsters
  • Loading dumpsters
  • Demoing of walls (all kinds)
  • Removal of flooring (all kinds)
  • Removal of ceiling systems
  • Removal of furniture/equipment
  • Removal of MEP
  • Removal of concrete
  • Operating scissor lifts and scaffolding
  • Using demo hammers, Sawzalls, and other power tools
  • Reading blueprints and measuring precisely

Requirements:

  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including night hours
  • MUST have own vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Must have required PPE (steel toe boots)
  • Must have a working cell phone
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have basic hand tools, including a hammer, drill, screwdrivers, tin snips, mini bolt cutters, pry bar, and tool belt
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours

The ideal candidate should possess construction-type experience and/or demolition experience. A salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, will be offered to the selected candidate.
