We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling components into sub-assemblies and performing final assembly of aircraft and crew-served weapons.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble components into sub-assemblies and perform final assembly of aircraft and crew-served weapons.
- Maintain, set up, and operate a variety of equipment such as arbor and hydraulic straightening presses, paint, and other machinery.
- Follow established company directives and policies, military specifications, process sheet operations, and instructions.
- Ensure appropriate interchange of sub-assembly components through a constant awareness of required tolerance and fit of mating parts.
- Use precision functional gages, alignment and work holding fixtures, pneumatic tools, drill presses, riveters, etc.
- Perform fitting and rework tasks such as grinding, filling, drilling, etc.
- Use hand tools such as pneumatic and hand type abrasive tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, mallets, etc.
- Must have physical ability to lift, move, adjust, etc. items weighing approximately 35 lbs. on a production basis.

- Average 18 months. Includes over 1 year through 2 years.
