We are seeking a highly skilled Tier II Desktop Technician to join our team at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of small systems configuration, performance, and operation, including maintenance, repair, upgrades, enhancements, and configuration of hardware, software, and operating systems in an inter-networked environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of technical experience with Windows 10 desktop systems, O365, MS 2013/2018, and Active Directory, as well as Apple/Mac environments. They will also be familiar with COTS desktop and network software and hardware, and possess excellent interpersonal and written English communication skills.

This role involves direct contact with users of all levels, IT Service Center staff, network and other technical staff, requiring excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will participate in efforts to evaluate, test, and introduce new technology and approaches, and will plan and execute tasks in conjunction with other system managers and Government staff.

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
