Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' functional mobility and develop individualized plans of care
  • Implement therapy interventions to promote patients' mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disabilities
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and equipment to facilitate rehabilitation
  • Educate patients and their families on ongoing therapy exercises and strategies for home care
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient treatment
  • Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

  • A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Clinical experience in physical therapy, including internships or residencies
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in physical therapy
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and educate patients and staff
