About the Job

This Senior Project Manager position is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish.

The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals, ensuring project completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing project features, estimating costs, and bidding on new projects.
  • Preliminary paperwork preparation, including submittals, introductory letters, and subcontractor approvals.
  • Developing and maintaining submittal logs, RFI logs, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
  • Performing quantity surveys and initiating project startup and closeout within RedTeam Software.
  • Publishing project documents and information into RedTeam Software for all parties.
  • Developing, maintaining, and implementing the project schedule with the Superintendents.
  • Coordinating and directing all project activities with the Superintendents to ensure all milestones are met.
  • Managing costs for the assigned project and creating detailed project budgets based on estimates and owner contracts.
  • Publishing project budget to RedTeam Software and distributing it to the project superintendent and accounting department.
  • Negotiating final subcontract amounts and preparing Scopes of work with subcontractors.
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Engineering or Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with field experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Industry knowledge and ability to read blueprints.
  • High level of executive composure.
  • 5+ years of experience working with key owners, architects, and engineers.
  • 5+ years of experience with construction software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
