If this resonates with you, we invite you to consider a position as a Legal Affairs Specialist within our organization. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in orchestrating activities within the Legal Affairs domain and providing support to our legal team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and route incoming inquiries via the Legal Hotline to our in-house legal advisors
  • Assist in monitoring Legal Hotline requests and Professional Standards cases
  • Help maintain a comprehensive database of legal matters pertinent to our Realtor membership
  • Draft reports and memoranda for Legal Affairs and professional standards
  • Contribute to the yearly revisions of the Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual
  • Support the management of Association contracts and committees
  • Provide supplementary assistance to the Professional Standards Coordinator
  • Possibility of serving as an Ombudsman for the Association
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, possess a keen attention to detail, and be capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. A background in paralegal studies or real estate is advantageous. Candidates should have a solid grasp of legal principles and procedures.

Experience and Education:

A minimum of three to five years of experience in a paralegal role or an Associate's degree in Business.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, along with other relevant software applications.

Physical Demands:

This position requires regular use of hands, sitting, standing, and occasional lifting of items weighing up to 15 pounds. Specific vision capabilities are necessary for both close and distant vision.
