Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join our Eastman Corporate Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the Electrical Engineering scope for various large capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project-specific Electrical Engineering execution plans to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration and successful project delivery.
  • Lead and manage the execution of Electrical Engineering scope of work at the selected engineering service provider in all phases.
  • Monitor and report actual progress and forecasting/check for discipline activities, including management of labor hours and delivered documents.
  • Apply industry codes and standards relevant to the chemical industry in the design and evaluation of electrical systems and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field with focus on the chemical or petrochemical industry required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as lead Electrical Engineer, including experience in large capital projects execution.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for implementation of cross-functional process improvements.
  • Ability to mentor and develop lesser experienced team members.
