Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Carolinaeatingdisorders. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform specific cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure the general upkeep, sanitation, and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies using appropriate processes and germicides.
  • Perform other housekeeping duties, such as moving and arranging furniture, turning mattresses, cleaning kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors as needed.
  • Launder soiled linens as directed.
  • Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department/unit use.

Requirements

  • High School/GED or better.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping in a commercial, clinical, or healthcare environment (1 year preferred).
