Cancer Care Coordinator

We are seeking a Cancer Care Coordinator to join our team at UT Southwestern Medical Center. This part-time position is responsible for assisting oncology patients, families, and caregivers to overcome healthcare barriers.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Job
The successful candidate will conduct ongoing assessments of need and facilitate referrals throughout the oncology continuum of care. They will utilize the nursing process and evidence-based knowledge to provide education and resources to facilitate informed decision making by patients and/or their families.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a Cancer Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing and documenting physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual health status of patients on admission
- Developing and implementing appropriate plans of care for patients
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
- Current Texas nursing license
- BLS certification
