We are Focused Staffing, a leading staffing agency providing specialized professionals to support the growth and development of students. We are currently seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team in the Special Services Department.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who require speech, language, and communication support. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech-language needs
  • Provide therapy using diagnostic tools and techniques to support the curriculum
  • Train and educate students, parents, and other professionals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to achieve goals
  • Maintain detailed records and report progress
  • Organize the school program and coordinate services with other student services
Requirements:
  • Valid NJDOE Speech-Language Specialist certificate
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology, communication disorders, or speech-language and hearing science
  • ASHA certification preferred; however, CFYs may be considered if supervision is accessible
  • Able to stand and work continuously for a minimum of four hours per work day
  • Able to use arms and hands without restrictions
  • Favorable criminal background check and child registry check required
